Chicago, IL (SportsNetwork.com) - The Chicago White Sox avoided arbitration with infielder Gordon Beckham and outfielder Alejandro De Aza, signing both players to one-year contracts on Friday.

Beckham, 26, hit .234 with a career-best 16 home runs and 60 RBI in 151 games with the White Sox last season.

The eighth-overall pick in the 2008 amateur draft, Beckham is a career .245 hitter with 49 homers and 216 RBI in 535 games, all with Chicago.

De Aza batted .281 with nine homers, 50 RBI and 26 stolen bases over 131 games in his first full season in the major leagues.

Over parts of five seasons with the Marlins and White Sox, De Aza owns a career .280 average with 13 homers and 86 RBI in 271 games.

The White Sox have no remaining arbitration-eligible players.
