Napoli moved to within three points of leaders Juventus on Friday without even playing a game, and the club will attempt to keep pressure on the defending champions when they visit fifth- place Fiorentina on Sunday.

Napoli had a two-point deduction for match fixing overturned by appeal on Friday, meaning that the club enters the weekend only three points back of Juventus and level on points with Lazio in second place.

Fiorentina will be looking to bounce back from a 3-1 defeat against Udinese last time out as the Viola attempts to keep its push for a Champions League place going.

Napoli has won its last three games and can strengthen its hold on a top-three place with another win. But it won't be easy considering that Fiorentina has lost only once in 10 games at the Artemio Franchi this season.

Another match with European implications takes place in Rome as Inter Milan visits the Italian capital to face Roma on Sunday.

Roma has lost its last two games and enters the contest in sixth place, while Inter resides in fourth and holds a six-point edge on Roma.

The Nerazzurri snapped a three-game winless skid in its last match by toppling Pescara, 2-0, last weekend.

Juventus tries to get back on track after claiming only one point from its last two games and the club hosts an Udinese side that has recorded wins over Inter Milan and Fiorentina in its last two contests.

Lazio is on a nine-game unbeaten streak and will be expected to collect three more points at second-from-the-bottom Palermo, while AC Milan has won five of its last seven contests to climb back into European contention and will host bottom-half Bologna.

Atalanta and Cagliari are separated by three points and meet up at the Atleti Azzurri d'Italia, Chievo and Parma tangle in a battle of mid-table sides, Catania visits relegation-battling Genoa, last-place Siena entertains Sampdoria and Torino invades Pescara.
