Dusseldorf, Germany – Hamburg midfielder Robert Tesche completed a loan move to Dusseldorf on Wednesday that runs through the rest of the season.
The 25-year-old featured in 23 Bundesliga games for Hamburg last term, but has been limited to only four substitute appearances this season and was told to look elsewhere for a club in January.
Tesche moved to Hamburg from Arminia Bielefeld in 2009 and he joins a Dusseldorf side that sits in 13th place in the Bundesliga.
"Robert Tesche has the experience of over 100 Bundesliga games," Dusseldorf general manager Wolf Werner said. "He will help us during the second half of the season. Moreover he is a skilled midfielder."
