The Buffalo Bills have hired 10 assistant coaches, a majority with little or no NFL experience, in continuing to fill out new coach Doug Marrone's staff.

The group features several assistants that were on Marrone's staff at Syracuse over the past four seasons. They include Donnie Henderson, who will coach defensive backs, Tyrone Wheatley (running backs) and Greg Adkins (tight ends).

Several assistants have ties to the New York Jets, where they worked under Buffalo's new defensive coordinator, Mike Pettine. That group includes Jim O'Neil (linebackers) and Anthony Weaver (defensive line).

The 10 coaches have a combined 20 years of NFL experience, led by Henderson's 10.

The most experienced is Chuck Driesbach (linebackers), who has 36 years of college experience. He spent 2007-11 as assistant head coach at Rice.
