F Greg Whittington out for No. 19 Georgetown against St. John's for a violation of team rules

NEW YORK –  Sophomore forward Greg Whittington will miss No. 19 Georgetown's game against St. John's for a violation of team rules.

Coach John Thompson made the announcement before Saturday's game at Madison Square Garden. No details were provided.

The 6-foot-8 Whittington has started all 13 games for the Hoyas. He is second on the team in scoring (12.1) and second in rebounding (7.0).
