Inter Milan opened its Serie A campaign with a 3-0 win at Pescara in August, and the Nerazzurri will be hoping for a similar result on Saturday at the San Siro when Pescara comes calling.

Since that season-opening win, Inter has endured an up-and-down campaign and enters the weekend in fifth place in the Serie A table.

The club has battled a rash of injuries throughout the season, and after closing the gap on leaders Juventus, Inter has stumbled over the past three matches, collecting only one point and falling nine points off the pace of Juve.

Manager Andrea Stramaccioni could get some good news with the potential return of striker Diego Milito on Saturday, but the boss maintains that Inter's goal has remained the same throughout the season.

"The goal remains the same - to get back into the Champions League," Stramaccioni said.

"We are planning to get back into the top competition in Europe through the front door, by finishing in the top-three places in Italy."

Pescara has struggled for much of the year but has found its best form in recent weeks, winning three of its last four matches to move four points clear of the relegation places.

Juventus was knocked off 2-1 at home by Sampdoria last time out and attempts to rebound on the road at top-half side Parma, which is on a three-game winning streak.

Lazio closed to within five points of Juve after securing a 2-1 win last weekend against Cagliari and the team hopes to continue that momentum at home against Atalanta on Sunday, while third-place Napoli entertains second-from- the-bottom Palermo.

Fiorentina's title chase took a hit last weekend with a 2-0 home defeat against Pescara, leaving the club nine points back of Juventus, and the Viola tries to rebound at Udinese.

The other match on Saturday features Chievo visiting a Bologna side that sits two points above the drop zone, while last-place Siena travels to Torino.

Genoa and Cagliari tangle in a match heavy on relegation implications, Catania entertains Roma and AC Milan goes for its seventh win in eight games when the team visits Sampdoria.
