Furiani, France – Bastia captain Yannick Cahuzac has been ruled for the remainder of the season after fracturing his shoulder.
The injury came in the club's Coupe de France defeat against third division side CA Bastia this week. The 27-year-old midfielder is expected to be out of action for between four and five months.
Bastia will resume its Ligue 1 campaign on Sunday following the league's winter break, coming into its clash with Reims in 13th place in France's top flight.
