Madrid, Spain – A goal in each half from Piti helped Rayo Vallecano to its third straight win on Monday, a 3-1 home triumph against Getafe.
Lass started the scoring for Rayo in the 14th minute with a fine individual effort that saw him beat three defenders before smashing a shot past goalkeeper Miguel Moya at his near post.
Piti netted the first of his two goals in the 28th with a left-footed volley from Javi Fuego's cross before scoring again early in the second half,
Leo provided the low cross on the break as he got down the right wing and found Piti, who was alone at the back post for a simple finish.
Getafe pulled a goal back through Paco Alcacer in the 65th minute, but any momentum was gone seven minutes later when Michel picked up a second yellow card for dissent.
