Washington, DC – Tennis star Maria Kirilenko is engaged to marry NHL star and fellow Russian Alex Ovechkin.
The 27-year-old Ovechkin is a two-time NHL MVP, while his fellow Moscow native Kirilenko is a 25-year-old currently ranked 14th in the WTA rankings. The two have not set a wedding date.
Kirilenko, one of the most glamorous players on the WTA, is a five-time singles titlist on the women's tour.
