Jon Nwannunu and Keith Hornsby scored 22 points each as North Carolina-Asheville rolled over Bluefield 95-66 Sunday in nonconference play.

The Bulldogs (6-7) won their third straight while posting a season-high for points scored. Bluefield (6-6), an NAIA team from Virginia, played the game as an exhibition.

UNC-Asheville led 53-29 at halftime. Nwannunu grabbed 11 rebounds for a double-double. Hornsby hit 5 of the Bulldogs' 7 3-pointers. D.J. Cunningham added 12 points and Sam Hughes chipped in 10.

Byron Carpenter led Bluefield with 14 points. Josh Nesbitt scored 12 and Jesse Sunkins added 11.

UNC-Asheville shot 52 percent (39 of 75) from the field. Bluefield was 25 of 58 (43.1 percent).

The Bulldogs used their height advantage to dominate inside. They outrebounded Bluefield 51-25 and grabbed 22 offensive boards. UNC-Asheville outscored the Rams 67-28 in the paint and also recorded a season-high 26 assists.
