Matthew Dellavedova made a school-record for 3-pointers and scored 24 points to lead St. Mary's (Cal) to a 78-62 win over Yale on Sunday.

Dellavedova, who was 4 of 6 from 3-point range, became the school's all-time leader in 3-pointers made. He also had six assists.

Brad Waldow had 10 points and eight rebounds. Beau Levesque and Jorden Page had 10 points apiece for the Gaels (10-3).

The Gaels led 40-30 at halftime. The Gaels shot 51.8 percent from the field for the game, while Yale shot 33.8 percent.

Greg Kelley led Yale (4-9) with 14 points. Austin Morgan had 11 points, and Javier Duren had 10. Justin Sears had seven rebounds, and Michael Grace had six assists.

Dellavedova now has 239 3-pointers, one more than David Sivulich's previous record of 238.
