Wes Eikmeier had 17 points to lead five Colorado State players scoring in double figures as the Rams pulled away in the second half for a 78-58 victory against Cal State Bakersfield on Wednesday night.

Greg Smith scored 14 points, Colton Iverson 12, Dorian Green 11 and Pierce Hornung 10 for Colorado State (8-2), which used a 17-6 run to clinch its extend its home winning streak to 19 games.

Hornung ignited the surge with a dunk that gave the Rams a 57-50 cushion, and his six straight points — on a three-point play and 3-point shot — bloated the lead to 18 points with 1:20 remaining.

Tyrone White had 18 points and Stephon Carter 17 for Cal State Bakersfield (4-8).

The contest was part of the Continental Tire Las Vegas Classic. The event moves to Las Vegas this weekend, with Colorado State playing Portland and Cal State Bakersfield facing North Florida on Saturday.
