Myrick Ferg posted a career-high 24 points and pulled down 11 rebounds to lead New Hampshire over Yale 64-56 Saturday in a nonconference matchup.

Patrick Konan had 14 points, and Chris Pelcher added 11 for New Hampshire (4-5), which shot 45 percent (24 of 53) from the field and never trailed in the win. Ferg (14.0), Pelcher (12.9) and Konan (12.5) all average double-digit points for the Wildcats.

Austin Morgan's early 3-pointer gave Yale (3-7) a 3-2 lead, but it was the Bulldogs' final advantage, as Ferg hit a jumper to help New Hampshire retake the lead and spark an 18-6 run.

Konan's free throw capped the run as New Hampshire held a 21-8 advantage with 9:42 left in the first half.

New Hampshire, which has hit a 3-pointer in 621 consecutive games dating back to 1991, shot 6 of 18 from deep.

Jeremiah Kreisberg led Yale with 14.
