Coleman has Bethune-Cookman's first ever triple-double in 85-72 win over Webber International

Adrien Coleman posted 18 points, 15 boards, and dished out 10 assists for the first triple-double in school history as Bethune-Cookman defeated Webber International of the NAIA 85-72 Saturday.

Coleman leads the Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference in scoring (18.9) and ranks third in rebounding (7.6). The 6-foot-5 forward has reached double-digits in points for 13 consecutive games dating back to last season.

Alex Smith led Bethune Cookman with 24 points and 10 rebounds, Paul Scotland had 14 and Kevin Dukes and Marc Mack tallied 10 apiece for the Tigers, who shot 41.7 percent (10 of 24) from deep in the win.

Bethune-Cookman led 39-36 at intermission but opened the second half with a 17-9 run to take a 56-45 lead and pull away.

The Tigers won the rebounding battle 50-38 and forced 23 turnovers.

Brian Pace had 31 points for Webber International, which counted the game as an exhibition.
