Allen Huddleston scored 13 points on 4-of-8 shooting including three 3-pointers and Fresno State imposed its will on San Diego Christian in the second half, outscoring the Hawks 45-22 to go on and win 84-49 on Thursday night.
Fresno State (5-3) led 39-27 at halftime but shot nearly 55 percent in the second half. The Bulldogs out-rebounded San Diego Christian 38-23 and forced the Hawks to turn the ball over 27 times. Fresno State had 18 steals, one shy of the school record and the most since the 1998-1999 season.
The Hawks shot a dismal 38.7 percent from the field.
Three other players were in double figures for the Bulldogs. Jerry Brown had 12 points and nine rebounds while Marvelle Harris and Tyler Johnson each scored 11 points.
Kevin Dawson led San Diego Christian (3-3) with 13 points and five rebounds.
