Antrel Rolle wants to see a little more of the dog from the New York Giants, and not just the defense.

This dog isn't a blitz though.

The veteran safety who is the sparkplug on that side of the ball said Wednesday that the Giants (7-5) need to start showing the tenacity of one of those nasty dogs who is not out to make any friends if it wants to get back to the playoffs.

The offense has to become more consistent. The defense can no longer show signs of being soft at times. It's time to get nasty again, Rolle said.

The season has come down to four games for the defending Super Bowl champions and now is the time to pick it up.
