Jonathan Reis scored twice and Vitesse beat Roda, 3-0, at the GelreDome for its fifth win during a six-match unbeaten streak Sunday in the Eredivisie.

Marco van Ginkel scored the first goal in the 10th minute and Reis added goals on each side of halftime, as Vitesse moved level on points with Twente on 34 points atop the standings but is second on goal differential.

Roda lost its fourth straight during an eight-game winless run, and is off the bottom only on goal differential.

Utrecht snapped a three-game skid to climb within nine points of the summit in sixth place, as Jacob Mulenga scored seven minutes from time in a 2-1 win over AZ Alkmaar. Leon de Kogel also scored for Utrecht.

Etienne Reijnen scored for AZ, which is winless in five matches and 20 points off the pace in 12th place.

An own goal and a strike from Michael de Leeuw helped Groningen extend its run without a loss to four matches with a 2-0 win over Heracles, and Melvin Platje scored in the 81st minute as NEC tied NAC, 1-1.
