John Brown and Derrell Edwards scored 13 points each to lead six High Point players in double figures in a 99-36 rout of Johnson & Wales (N.C.) Sunday.

The Panthers (4-3) took the lead for good on a dunk by Corey Law that made it 7-5, stretched the margin to 43-26 at halftime and opened the second half with an 18-0 run that included nine points by Edwards.

Johnson & Wales (3-11), a U.S. Collegiate Athletic Association team, scored just 10 points in the second half, making 4 of 31 shots (12.9 percent). The 63-point margin of defeat matched the Wildcats' most lopsided this season, a 109-46 loss to North Carolina Central on Nov. 12.

Law added 11 points for High Point, and Allan Chaney, Adam Weary and Branimir Mikulic scored 10 each. Law and Chaney had nine rebounds each as the Panthers dominated the boards 53-29.
