Mason Mills threw two second-quarter touchdowns to lead San Diego over Marist 34-10 Saturday, as the Toreros won their sixth straight game and a share of the Pioneer Football League title.

Mills completed 23 of 34 passes for 422 yards for San Diego (8-3, 6-1), which finished the season in a three-way tie for first place in the PFL with Butler and Drake.

After two early field goals from Ernie Collins put San Diego up 6-0, Mills connected with Reggie Bell from 38-yards out to extend the Toreros lead to 13-0 at the 12 minute mark of the second quarter.

Mills' second TD pass of the quarter, this time a 23-yarder to Bell, gave San Diego a commanding 20-3 lead.

Bell finished with 143 yards and two touchdowns on seven catches.

Chuckie Looney led Marist (4-7, 3-4) with 227 passing yards but was sacked five times and threw an interception.
