It’s gotta be the shorts.

Former NBA legend Michael Jordan reportedly declined to change out of cargo shorts while playing golf recently at a Miami Beach country club, earning him persona non grata status for his next round.

Jordan told ESPN Chicago he had been at the club several times previously and had not been informed of the policy.

"Then all of a sudden they come to me on the 11th hole and say I can't wear cargo shorts,” Jordan told ESPN Chicago by text. “Wow! The round is almost over and you want me to buy shorts now? Yeah, right!!"

Jordan reportedly continued his round after declining to change, but a source told the New York Post that the Hall of Famer and Charlotte Bobcats owned would not be invited back to La Gorce Country Club.

"No problem!!" Jordan replied.

A spokesman for the country club declined comment. An employee in the pro shop, meanwhile, said required attire is a collared shirt and golf shorts or pants — but no cargo or denim.

“If there are pockets on the outside, it's not allowed,” the employee said.
