Guus Hiddink will retire at the end of the season, ending a long coaching career highlighted by a European Cup win at PSV Eindhoven in 1988.

The 66-year-old Hiddink is currently manager of Russia side Anzhi, but enjoyed spells with PSV, Valencia, Real Madrid and Chelsea, among others, on the club level, and the Netherlands, South Korea, Australia, Russia and Turkey on the international stage.

Hiddink started his career as an assistant manager in 1982, and took over PSV in 1987 in his first head coaching role.

In addition to his European Cup trophy, he won numerous league titles, led the Netherlands to the 1998 World Cup semifinals, South Korea to the 2002 World Cup semifinals, and Australia to the 2006 World Cup.
