Jordan Swing and Robert Williams scored 18 points apiece, Rod Rucker had a double-double and Alabama-Birmingham used a first-half surge to pull away from Troy en route to a 75-55 win Tuesday night.

The Blazers (4-3), who snapped a two-game skid, trailed 20-18 with 8:29 left in the first half. A Terence Jones layup sparked a 17-0 run to close out the first half, with Jones scoring eight in the spurt.

The Trojans (4-3), who saw their three-game winning streak end, shot only 25 percent in the first half (7 of 28), missing their last 10 shots and turning the ball over seven times during the scoring drought.

Jones finished with 14 points and Rucker had 10 points and 12 rebounds as the Blazers had a 45-29 edge on the glass.

Hunter Williams had 16 points and Antoine Myers added 13 for the Trojans.

UAB leads the series 6-0.
