William McKay scored twice, including the game-winner nine minutes from time, to help Inverness to a 3-2 victory over Aberdeen at Pittodrie Stadium on Tuesday.

McKay opened the scoring in the 35th minute before Josh Magennis' goals in the 45th and 49th minutes put the home side in front.

Gary Warren struck in the 57th minute to equalize for Inverness, but it was McKay's 81st-minute goal that sealed all three points for the visitors, helping the club go level with Celtic atop the Scottish Premier League table with 25 points apiece. The Hoops, who hold two games in hand, remain top with a superior goal differential.

Aberdeen drops to fourth place, staying put on 24 points.

Also on Tuesday, Michael Higdon and Chris Humphrey scored three minutes apart in the first half to see Motherwell claim a 2-1 win over Dundee United and Ross County played to a 0-0 draw with St. Mirren.
