The Tampa Bay Buccaneers placed tackle Jeremy Trueblood and safety Cody Grimm on injured reserve, the team announced on Tuesday.

Trueblood suffered a shoulder injury in Sunday's loss to the Atlanta Falcons. The Boston College product has appeared in 100 career games -- 84 starts -- at right tackle for Tampa Bay. Trueblood had started 68 consecutive games for the Bucs from 2006 through part of the 2010 season.

Grimm suffered a hamstring injury in Week 9 and has seen limited action since then. The third-year pro out of Virginia Tech has appeared in 23 games -- 12 starts -- for Tampa Bay, recording 77 tackles, two interceptions and two passes defensed.

Additionally, the Bucs were awarded wide receiver David Gilreath off waivers from the Pittsburgh Steelers.

Tampa Bay also released guard Chris Scott from the practice squad and signed safety Sean Baker to the practice squad.
