Birmingham, England – Aston Villa claimed a vital win in Premier League action on Tuesday, riding Christian Benteke's 79th-minute header to a 1-0 victory over Reading at Villa Park.
The two sides looked to be heading to a scoreless draw, but Benteke nodded a corner kick through traffic and into the back of the net 11 minutes from time to see the Villans climb out of the relegation zone.

Sunderland, England - Harry Redknapp's reign as QPR manager began with a scoreless draw on Tuesday as the Premier League's last-place club was held to a 0-0 draw at Sunderland.
Redknapp was announced as Mark Hughes' replacement on Saturday but was not on the touchline to manage the team in its loss to Manchester United at Old Trafford.
The former Tottenham boss seized control of the coaching duties on Sunday and has now picked up his first point in charge of QPR, helping the club improve to five points with just its second shutout of the campaign.
