Prestin Medlin scored 17 points, Jarred Shaw had 16 and Utah State closed the game on a 12-2 run to defeat Weber State 65-55 Saturday night.

Ben Clifford added 11 points for the Aggies (3-1), who outrebounded Weber State 43-30. Shaw had 12 rebounds and Medlin added nine.

Davion Berry led the Wildcats (1-2) with 11 points.

In a game that featured 24 lead changes and 16 ties, Utah State pulled away in the final 5 minutes. With the scored tied at 53-all, the Aggies got baskets from Shaw and Kyisean Reed to go along with a pair of free throws from Clifford to open a six-point lead. After a Weber State free throw, Utah State again scored six straight points to put the game out of reach.

Neither team led by more than three points in the second half until Utah State's deciding run.
