Safety Dwight Lowery is back in the starting lineup for the Jacksonville Jaguars after missing five games with a foot injury.

Lowery is active for Sunday's game against Tennessee, a good sign for a defense that allowed 527 yards passing last week at Houston.

The Jaguars are without cornerback William Middleton, running back Maurice Jones-Drew, fullback Greg Jones, safety Chris Harris, guard Steve Vallos and defensive tackles D'Anthony Smith and Jeris Pendleton. Middleton (concussion), Jones-Drew (foot) and Jones (foot) were ruled out Friday.

The Titans are without quarterback Rusty Smith, running back Jamie Harper, safety Al Afalava, linebacker Xavier Adibi, offensive tackle Byron Stingily, receiver Lavelle Hawkins and defensive tackle DaJohn Harris. Adibi (knee), Harper (ankle), Hawkins (ankle) and Stingily (back) had been questionable.
