PSG snapped a three-game winless run and climbed back into first place in Ligue 1 on Saturday, cruising to a 4-0 defeat of Troyes at the Parc des Princes.

Maxwell's 17th-minute goal put PSG in front heading into the halftime break, but the home side exploded for three more goals after the restart.

Blaise Matuidi struck in the 63rd minute to double PSG's advantage, and Zlatan Ibrahimovic bagged a brace in the final 20 minutes to seal the win.

Ibrahimovic's two-goal effort extends his lead atop the Ligue 1 scoring chart, setting the pace with 12 goals through 14 league games.

PSG improves to 26 points on the season to go one point clear of St. Etienne, which picked up a 1-0 win over Valenciennes on Friday. Lyon and Bordeaux can move back in front of PSG with wins over Toulouse and Montpellier, respectively, on Sunday.

Troyes has claimed just one win on the season, remaining second from bottom in France's top flight with eight points.

Nancy 1, Ajaccio 1

Nancy, France - Nancy was denied a second victory of the season as it was held to a 1-1 home draw by Ajaccio on Saturday.

Djamel Bakar got the Ligue 1 bottom-feeders off to a bright start by opening the scoring in the eighth minute, but Adrian Mutu leveled the score with a penalty 15 minutes from time.

Nancy remains bottom of the table on seven points, eight points adrift of Ajaccio.

Bastia 2, Lorient 1

Furiani, France - Anthony Modeste went from hero to villain, but Bastia was able to bounce back to claim a 2-1 win over Lorient at the Stade Armand-Cesari on Saturday.

Modeste got the home side off the mark in the 11th minute but was promptly sent off. Lamine Kone equalized for Lorient in the 31st minute, but Bastia answered three minutes later with Wahbi Khazri's goal holding up as the match- winner.

Bastia's three-game slide comes to end as the club improves to 14 points. Lorient has lost three of its last four league contests to remain stuck on 18 points.

Nice 1, Sochaux 0

Montbeliard, France - Nice went unbeaten in four Ligue 1 matches on Saturday, riding a penalty kick from Dario Cvitanich to a 1-0 victory over Sochaux at the Stade Auguste Bonal.

Cvitanich's penalty came in the 44th minute, lifting Nice to 19 points on the season.

Sochaux's three-game unbeaten run comes to a halt as the club narrowly eclipses the relegation zone on goal differential.

Evian 1, Rennes 0

Rennes, France - Zouhaier Dhaouadhi provided a late goal to help Evian earn a second victory in three matches as the club claimed a 1-0 win over Rennes on Saturday.

The two sides look destined for a scoreless draw, but Dhaouadhi's strike 11 minutes from time sees Evian improve to 15 points on the season.

The result snaps Rennes' three-game winning run as the club fails to move into the top-four.

Reims 0, Brest 0

Reims, France - Reims and Brest remain separated by a single point after the two clubs played to a 0-0 draw at the Stade Auguste Delaune II on Saturday.

The draw sees Reims' three-game slide come to an end as the club climbs to 16 points on the campaign.

Brest has drawn seven matches this season as it remains one point clear of Reims.
