The Detroit Lions have a long weekend to think about blowing a second straight game and falling to 4-7 in a once-promising season turned sour.
The Lions lost 34-31 in overtime to the Houston Texans on Thursday only four days after a 24-20 loss to the Green Bay Packers. Detroit led in the fourth quarter in each game and wasted opportunities to win on both sides of the ball both times.
In the latest setback, a mistake on the sideline might've cost Detroit a much-needed victory.
Lions coach Jim Schwartz negated an automatic review that would've likely gone his team's way when Justin Forsett ran for an 81-yard touchdown in the third quarter.
