Roma moved into sixth place in the Serie A table on Monday after securing a 2-0 home win against Torino with both goals arriving in the final 20 minutes.
The hosts lost three of their last four games entering the match, but went ahead with 20 minutes to play as Pablo Osvaldo converted from the penalty spot after Roma's Marquinho was brought down by Torino's Angelo Ogbonna inside the area.
Osvaldo sent goalkeeper Jean Francois Gillet the wrong way from the spot, and his team sealed the win in the 86th minute with a deflected shot from Miralem Pjanic which found its way past Gillet.
The defeat is Torino's first in four games and keeps the club four points above the relegation places.
