Corey Wilford scored 21 points and Marland Smith and Tyler Stone had 16 points each as Southeast Missouri State defeated Chattanooga 77-65 in a nonconference game Sunday.

Stone also had 11 rebounds for the Redhawks (3-1), who shot 69.6 percent (16 of 23) in the second half and used a 13-1 run to go ahead 44-30 with 14:17 remaining.

Wilford scored six points in that stretch and Smith capped the run with a trey.

Southeast Missouri State scored the first seven points of the game, but the Mocs (1-2) came back to tie it at 11 before the Redhawks pulled out to a 29-23 halftime lead.

Drazen Zlovaric and Z. Mason each scored 14 points to pace Chattanooga, which led No. 7 Kansas by 12 points Thursday night before losing 69-55.

Farad Cobb, who came off the bench to score 21 against the Jayhawks, was scoreless in 21 minutes Sunday.
