BATON ROUGE, La. – Les Miles says LSU is mindful of the lessons to be learned from its tense comeback victory over Mississippi in the so-called Magnolia Bowl.
Even so, Miles says he's pleased with the unshakable resolve the No. 8 Tigers demonstrated in the 41-35 win that kept alive slim hopes for Southeastern Conference and national titles.
Even if LSU (9-2, 5-2) does not get the help it needs to stay alive in the SEC, a win at Arkansas (4-7, 2-5) on Friday should at least give the Tigers a shot at a BCS bowl. But LSU must play better in the secondary.
Miles says video of Ole Miss quarterback Bo Wallace's 310-yard, two-touchdown passing performance will be a valuable teaching tool.
