Josh Greene scored a career-high 28 points and added seven assists and five steals, and CS Northridge stayed unbeaten Saturday night with a 92-76 victory over Tulsa at the NUCDF Basketball Challenge.

Greene, a junior, was 6 of 12 from the field, including two 3-pointers, and made all 14 of his free throws. Stephan Hicks and Brandon Perry added 16 points apiece for the Matadors (5-0), whose five-game winning streak to start the season is the school's first since Northridge won its first nine games of the 1981-82 season.

Rashad Smith had 15 points and James Woodard scored 14 for the Golden Hurricane (3-1), who took their first loss under new coach Danny Manning. Tulsa committed 20 turnovers to Northridge's 12.

Tulsa trailed the entire second half but pulled within 76-71 on Woodard's 3-pointer with 2:56 left. Northridge responded with a 10-0 run to put the game out of reach.
