Montpellier defender Mapou Yanga-Mbiwa signed a new contract with the club on Friday that ties him down until June 2015.
Yanga-Mbiwa is in his sixth year at Montpellier, and his original contract was set to expire at the end of the current campaign.
The 23-year-old helped Montpellier capture the Ligue 1 title last term, and he has reportedly drawn interest from Lille, Arsenal and AC Milan in recent years.
So far this season, the France international has started seven of Montpellier's 12 games in Ligue 1.
