Browns starting cornerback Joe Haden missed his second day of practice with an oblique injury and could be sidelined for Sunday's game in Dallas.

Haden was not on the field for the portion of practice open to the media. Haden got hurt during Wednesday's workout and did not practice on Thursday. Browns coach Pat Shurmur is expected to provide an update on Haden, who missed four games earlier this season when he was suspended for violating the NFL's policy on performance-enhancing substances. The Browns lost all four games without Haden.

If Haden can't play against the Cowboys, Buster Skrine would likely start in his place opposite Sheldon Brown with rookie Trevin Wade moving into the nickel back position.

Haden is the Browns' top coverage defender. He has two interceptions this season.
