Alameda, CA – The Oakland Raiders signed linebacker Omar Gaither on Monday.
Gaither signed with the Raiders on Nov. 14, 2012 and recorded 14 tackles in seven games.
The 29-year-old Gaither started four of the 10 games he played for the Carolina Panthers in 2011. He ended that season with 31 tackles and one sack.
Originally selected by Philadelphia in the fifth round of the 2006 draft, the Tennessee product started 36 games over five seasons with the Eagles.
Gaither has compiled 334 tackles and six sacks in 84 career games.
