Marseille revealed Monday that Loic Remy will miss two matches after the striker picked up a thigh injury in the club's draw with Nice at the weekend.

Remy entered the match as a a second-half substitute but had to be replaced in the closing stages.

"Loic Remy had scans this morning which revealed a small detachment of the membrane in his left thigh," the club said in a statement. "He will be unavailable for between 10 and 12 days."

Marseille faces Bordeaux in Ligue 1 action on Sunday before taking on Fenerbahce in the Europa League next week. The club is hopeful that Remy can return in time for Marseille's home clash with Lille on November 25.

Also picking up an injury on Sunday, Marseille's second-choice goalkeeper Gennaro Bracigliano faces three weeks on the sidelines after injuring his shoulder during the warm-up.
