Jeremy Ingram and Ray Willis each pitched in 16 points and five North Carolina Central players scored in double digits as the Eagles trounced Johnson & Wales (NC) 109-46 Monday night in a nonconference game.

Drimir Ferguson scored 14, Standon Kidd had 12 and Alfonzo Houston had 10 for North Carolina Central (1-1), which shot 56.3 percent (36 of 64) from the field and 38.1 percent (8 of 21) from beyond the arc.

Ferguson also had eight assists and eight steals.

The Eagles opened on a 10-0 scoring run, and followed that with a 13-2 stretch to take a 23-8 lead less than six minutes in.

Johnson & Wales (1-4) trailed 48-20 on points in the paint, 48-7 on points off turnovers and 32-2 on fast-break points. The Eagles' bench outscored the Wildcats 61-2.
