Chicago Bears quarterback Jay Cutler sat out the second half of Sunday night's 13-6 loss to the Houston Texans with a concussion.

It was unknown exactly when Cutler sustained the concussion, but he did absorb a hard hit to the head late in the first half. Houston linebacker Tim Dobbins drilled Cutler at midfield on a 42-yard pass to Devin Hester.

The play, however, was negated due to offsetting penalties. Cutler got called for an illegal forward pass because he was beyond the line of scrimmage, while Dobbins was flagged for unnecessary roughness.

Cutler remained in the game and threw his second interception later in the drive. He finished the half, but Jason Campbell took over the offense after the break.
