CHARLOTTE, N.C. – Denver Broncos defensive end Elvis Dumervil left Sunday's game against the Carolina Panthers with a left shoulder injury and did not return.
"We'll evaluate that moving forward but that was our only injury of the game," Broncos coach John Fox said following Denver's 36-14 win over Carolina.
Dumervil has six sacks this season.
He had two tackles and a forced fumble before leaving Sunday midway through the second quarter. He was replaced by Robert Ayers and the Broncos didn't miss a beat. Denver sacked Cam Newton seven times, including once for a safety and forced him into two interceptions.
