Gavin McCarney and Jordan McCord scored late touchdowns to help rally Colgate past Lehigh 35-24 Saturday in Patriot League play.

Lehigh (9-1, 3-1) took a 14-0 lead on a 2-yard run by Zach Barket and a 1-yard run by Keith Sherman.

McCord and McCarney would score 1-yard and 10-yard rushing touchdowns in the second quarter, respectively, to cut the deficit, but Jake Peery's 43-yard field goal as time expired in the first half helped Lehigh take a 24-14 advantage into halftime. McCord finished with two touchdowns and 118 yards on 35 carries while McCarney finished with three touchdowns and 121 yards on 24 carries.

Colgate (7-3, 5-0) held the Mountain Hawks scoreless the entire second half.

McCarney and McCord took over in the fourth quarter. McCarney's 2-yard TD run gave Colgate the lead 28-24 with 9:14 left, and McCord's touchdown run of 8 yards with 1:19 remaining sealed the victory.
