Tennessee-Martin's Jeremy Butler scored the potential tying touchdown in overtime, but James Satterfield fumbled on the two-point conversion attempt to hand Tennessee Tech a 45-44 upset victory on Saturday.

Tennessee Tech's Doug Page had scored from the 2, and Zach Sharp kicked the PAT for a 45-38 advantage in overtime. Tennessee Tech (3-7, 1-6 Ohio Valley Conference) scored 21 points in the fourth quarter to tie the game, including Darian Stone's 79-yard TD pass to Ryan Tilghman with a minute remaining in regulation.

Tennessee-Martin (7-2, 5-2) tied the game with 6 seconds left in regulation on Derek Carr's 46-yard touchdown pass to Chris Thompson.

Darian Stone passed for 277 yards and three touchdowns and rushed for 190 yards for Tennessee Tech, and Tilghman caught three passes for 123 yards and the long TD.

Carr passed for 422 yards and four touchdowns for UT-Martin.
