Dallas Kessman picked a good night to come up big for his San Diego squad, leading the Toreros with 31 carries for 190 yards and two touchdowns in a 41-28 victory Saturday over Morehead State.

Kessman scored his second touchdown on a 5-yard run with 5:51 remaining in the contest, making it 41-21 Toreros. The score gave San Diego (6-3, 5-1 Pioneer League) a sure victory and a chance to at least share the Pioneer League title.

Mason Mills completed 26 of 29 passes for 229 yards and two touchdowns, his favorite target being Reggie Bell who caught eight passes for 71 yards and a score. Mills led an offense which had 497 total yards, scoring all seven times they entered the red zone.

Zach Lewis for Morehead State (3-7, 2-5) was 30 for 45 for 316 yards and a touchdown. Donte Sawyer caught 13 passes for 152 yards.
