St. Petersburg, Russia – Zenit has confirmed that Brazilian forward Hulk will miss the club's upcoming Champions League clash at Anderlecht on Tuesday because of a thigh injury.
Hulk sustained the problem in Zenit's 2-1 league win over Rostov on Friday, and he is expected to be out for the next two weeks.
The 26-year-old has tallied three goals in 11 appearances since arriving from FC Porto this summer, but he will miss a crucial match for Zenit in Group C against Anderlecht with the club sitting in third place, one point back of second-place AC Milan.
