Sanya, China – Cassandra Kirkland closed with a 2-under 70 on Sunday to win the Sanya Ladies Open by two strokes.
Kirkland, who won for the first time on the Ladies European Tour, finished at 6-under-par 210.
The 28-year-old from Paris had two birdies on the front nine. Around the turn, she dropped shots at 10 and 15, but atoned for those mistakes with a hole-out eagle on the par-4 14th at Yalong Bay Golf Club.
Kirkland parred the final three to hang on for the win.
Jade Schaeffer (69) and Holly Aitchison (71) shared second place at minus-4.
Numa Gulyanamitta, the second-round leader, tripped to a 2-over 74 to finish in a 9-way tie for fourth at 3-under-par 213.
