Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang scored the winner 17 minutes from time, as Saint Etienne took advantage of an own goal and a red card to hand PSG its first Ligue 1 loss, 2-1, on Saturday.

Mamadou Sakho turned the ball into his own net 10 minutes into the second half at the Parc des Princes and, after Zlatan Ibrahimovic was handed his marching orders, Aubameyang followed in the 73rd minute with his seventh goal.

Saint Etienne extended its unbeaten to streak to six matches and moved within four points of PSG for first place. PSG, which had six wins and four draws in its first 10 matches, still leads Toulouse by three points.

Lille 2, Evian 0

Annecy, France - Nolan Roux and Florent Balmont scored as Lille won for the third time during a four-match unbeaten streak, 2-1, over Evian on Saturday at the Parc des Sports in Ligue 1.

Roux opened the scoring five minutes before halftime and Balmont scored early in the second half for Lille, which is up to seventh place in the standings.

Evian lost its second straight game and sixth of the season, and is just three points off the foot of the standings in 17th place.

Valenciennes 3, Sochaux 1

Valenciennes, France - Gregory Pujol scored twice as Valenciennes beat Sochaux 3-1 on Saturday at the Stade du Hainaut in Ligue 1.

Foued Kadir opened the scoring after 12 minutes for Valenciennes and Pujol was on target just before the half-hour mark and again on the hour.

Valenciennes climbed to fourth in the standings, just four points off the pace of first-place PSG. Sochaux, which got its goal from Sebastien Roudet, dropped its third during a four-game skid and is 18th on just seven points.

Nice 2, Nancy 1

Nice, France - Eric Bautheac scored eight minutes from time as Nice beat Nancy 2-1 on Saturday at the Stade Municipal du Ray in Ligue 1.

Mahamane Traore handed Nice the lead in the 21st minute, but Nancy tied up the match before half when Salif Sane struck in first-half stoppage time. Bautheac followed with the winner, as Nice ended a four-game winless run in Ligue 1.

Nancy lost for the eighth time through just 11 matches and sits at the foot of the standings on just five points. Nice is 15th.

Troyes 1, Montpellier 1

Troyes, France - Fabien Camus scored as promoted Troyes extended its modest unbeaten streak to three matches with a 1-1 draw against defending Ligue 1 champion Montpellier on Saturday at the Stade de l'Aube.

Younes Belhanda scored for Montpellier, which has just 12 points from 11 games and is 10 points off the pace in 14th place. Troyes has just seven points, and is just two points off the foot of the table in 19th place.

Rennes 1, Reims 0

Rennes, France - Mevlut Erding scored as Rennes downed 10-man Reims, 1-0, for its fourth win in its last five Ligue 1 fixtures Saturday at the Stade de la Route de Lorient.

Rennes has climbed to eighth on the strength of its recent strong from, while promoted Reims lost for the second time during a three-game slide and sits in ninth place.
