Oklahoma State senior men's basketball player Jean-Paul Olukemi was granted a waiver by the NCAA to play this season after missing most of the 2011-12 campaign with a torn ACL.
Olukemi, a redshirt in 2009-10 after transferring from junior college, played in just 13 games last season before suffering his knee injury.
"We would like to thank the NCAA for its due diligence in this matter," said Oklahoma State coach Travis Ford. "Looking out for the student-athlete and their best interest should be what's most important, and it certainly showed in this decision."
Olukemi was a Big 12 All-Rookie member in 2010-11 when he averaged 11.1 points and 4.1 rebounds in 34 games, including 11 starts. He was averaging 9.4 points and 4.8 rebounds last season before his injury.
