"It Looks like im going to be a nugget for another 4 yrs," Lawson wrote on his Twitter page on Tuesday.

The 5-foot-11 guard helped North Carolina win the 2009 NCAA Championship.

"We are thrilled to have reached an agreement on a contractual extension with Ty," Nuggets president Josh Kroenke said. "This new contract is a reflection of his hard work and dedication throughout the past three seasons with our organization."
