Sean Goldrich threw four touchdown passes, two of them to Harold Spears, to lead New Hampshire to a 28-21 victory against Maine in a Colonial Athletic Association game on Saturday.

Maine (2-5, 1-3) jumped to a 14-0 lead early in the second quarter, but the Wildcats (6-2, 4-1) responded with Goldrich's 79-yard touchdown pass to Spears, one of his three catches for 107 yards, and scored the next 28 points. It was the first of Goldrich's three second-quarter touchdown passes that gave New Hampshire the lead for good.

Goldrich, who was making his first start since injuring his shoulder at Minnesota on Sept. 8, finished 18 of 39 for 283 yards with one interception.

Maine's Marcus Wasilewski was 23-of-44 passing for 254 yards and three touchdowns, two of them to Justin Perillo, but threw two interceptions.

It was the 100th game between the rivals. The Wildcats lead the series 49-43-8.
