Hitzlsperger signs short-term Everton deal

Liverpool, England – German midfielder Thomas Hitzlsperger has signed a short-term contract with Everton that runs until January.

Hitzlsperger has spent time in the Premier League previously with Aston Villa and West Ham, but has been without a club since the end of last season when his contract with Wolfsburg expired.

The 30-year-old has been training with the Toffees since the start of the season and has signed in time to be available for the club's upcoming match with QPR on Sunday.
